- The Glenbow Museum in Calgary has a large collection of Alberta CGIT history. It is also possible to research CGIT History in Alberta by going to the Alberta Provincial Museum in Edmonton. They have a huge collection of newspapers. Alberta CGIT used to make the news regularly right from the time it started in Alberta.
- A Northern Alberta Girl and Leaders’ Conference was held at the University of Alberta, April 12 – 14, 1918, when the CGIT program from Toronto was presented to Alberta. Olive Ziegler was present.
There were about 400 women in attendance.
